Days 1–3
• No touching, scratching, or rubbing the transplanted area
• Sleep with head elevated (30–45°) to reduce swelling
• No washing the scalp until cleared by the clinic (typically day 2–3, and even then it's a gentle, clinic-directed rinse, not a normal shower)
• Avoid bending over or lying flat
• Mild swelling on the forehead is common and usually peaks around day 3

Days 4–7
• Gentle scalp washing begins under clinic guidance — usually a specific technique (light dabbing, not rubbing) with a mild shampoo they provide or recommend
• Tiny scabs form around each graft — these must be left alone to fall off naturally, never picked
• No direct sun exposure on the scalp
• No exercise, sweating, or raising heart rate significantly
